As part of a balanced lifestyle I do my best to stay active as much as I can here in Kelowna. On the few days I do take off, you’ll probably see me at the gym, golfing a course here and there, or, more likely, in the hot room at Bikram Yoga Kelowna. I love sweating it out with my friends (and the studio’s owners) Jjanet and Aiden.
Bikram Yoga has really caught on here in the Okanagan, not to mention around the world. Thousands of students become teachers each year through a rigorous ten week training program where they participate in two classes a day, each day. Their discipline and versatility is evident when you take their classes. I love being in an energized room and being challenged to keep my focus strong and go further. The heat & humidity, combined with a full range of postures, has done a lot to keep me fit, active, and feeling vital. The studio is very centrally located in the downtown core at 555 Lawrence Avenue.
